Job title: Regional Sales Manager
About the Role Leads the development of business plans and execution of sales strategy for the assigned geography to meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals. Ensures compliant growth through governance, sales administration and capability development through coaching and mentoring of the sales team. Reports to the Country Manager.
What You'll Do
- Conduct quarterly sales reviews with team and manager, adjust strategies in accordance with Country requirements.
- SFDC opportunities funnel review with each team member.
- Regularly travels with each team member to ensure strategies are fully implemented.
- Ensure effective territory management and account targeting in each territory.
- Identify sales forecast gaps, submit corrective strategies and implement aggressive sales growth.
- Identify business opportunities and execute account-wise / customer-wise strategies for value capture.
- Monitor sales call frequency, territory coverage, sales performance and execute plans for further growth.
- Responsible for budgeting, controls and executing governance and compliance.
- Maintain contact with major accounts and key relationships; attend customer, company, and industry forums.
- Lead team of employees in achieving organizational goals; provide coaching, direction and development; drive succession planning and training needs.
- Ongoing performance management with timely feedback; inspire the team to overachieve targets.
What We're Looking For
- Graduation or Post Graduation in sciences, preferably with an MBA.
- 10-12 years of sales experience, with preferably 4-5 years in people management, ideally in the healthcare industry.
- Prior experience or exposure to S&IP products; knowledge of customers, markets and competitors.
- Demonstrated integrity, initiative, organizational sensitivity and collaboration.
