About the Role Regional Purchaser EMEA – CTBC, responsible for regional purchasing activities across one or more plants, focusing on contract negotiations, supplier coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to secure delivery quantities and drive cost savings and process improvements in the EMEA region. What You'll Do
- Negotiate contracts and oversee implementation and communication for one or multiple plants in the region
- Create savings, identify potential synergies, and drive improvement processes
- Secure delivery quantities and maintain proactive supplier communication
- Manage internal and external correspondence for the area of responsibility; maintain close communication with SCM, SD, R&D and Quality departments
- Support group-wide communication of market-relevant information
- Support global lead buyers with background information and trends What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years Buying / Purchasing experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to complete tasks with varying degrees of difficulty within agreed timescales
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with minimal supervision
