About the Role The Senior Regional Production Specialist is responsible for applying technical underwriting acumen with strong marketing and sales skills to meet production underwriting goals for AIG's E&S Property portfolio, while upholding budgeted loss and expense ratios. This role includes mentoring junior team members, collaborating across divisions, and contributing to planning and budgeting to build a diverse and high-performing Lexington-based team. What You'll Do
- Underwrite risks to maintain and profitably grow our E&S Property portfolio across intended business segments.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues and wholesale trading partners to drive production.
- Review and negotiate manuscript form wordings and coverages.
- Act as a senior mentor to train and guide other team members within the Zone. What We're Looking For
- 7+ years' experience in Commercial Property E&S underwriting.
- Ability to underwrite property risks across the spectrum of E&S Property business while setting direction for the team and maintaining a balanced portfolio across primary, shared and excess placements.
- Ability to underwrite 100%, primary/shared and layered, and excess structures.
- Strong understanding of current market conditions, ability to quickly decide and turn around quotes, and manage multiple prospects concurrently.
- Experience as a senior leader within Lexington, including mentoring, cross-division collaboration, and driving a diverse and inclusive culture.
- Ability to work with regional Property leadership peers to build a nationally renowned team and culture for Lexington. Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range for Los Angeles, CA: $160,000 to $200,000 per year. Eligible for a bonus under the applicable incentive plan.
