Turn breakthrough science into better acute care across EMEA.
We are looking for an accomplished Medical Doctor to lead medical and scientific thinking for Acute Therapies across EMEA. This remote role can be based within selected European markets. Partnering with the Regional Medical Director, you will turn global strategy into regional action, elevate scientific engagement and help accelerate the responsible adoption of therapies that matter.
This is a high-visibility role for a credible scientific leader with deep expertise in continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), extracorporeal blood purification, CO2 removal and anticoagulation. You will connect evidence, clinical insight and strategy across countries—and influence the future of acute care.
Your impact
- Be the senior EMEA medical expert for CRRT, extracorporeal blood purification, CO2 removal, anticoagulation, digital connectivity and related acute therapy platforms.
- Set regional medical priorities that connect global direction, business needs and country execution.
- Turn complex evidence into clear guidance, compelling education and practical field resources.
- Lead evidence-generation planning, real-world evidence activities, literature analysis, data interpretation and scientific communication.
- Convert insights from healthcare professionals, advisory boards, congresses and the field into sharper strategy, stronger innovation and better clinical development.
- Build influential partnerships with key opinion leaders, investigators, professional societies and clinical networks.
- Lead regional advisory boards, expert meetings, scientific engagements and evidence-generation projects.
- Shape therapy positioning, launch readiness, clinical claims, customer education, product lifecycle plans and future innovation.
- Review scientific, educational and promotional materials to ensure they meet company standards and local and regional requirements.
- Coach colleagues, raise medical capability and represent the organisation at major customer engagements, congresses and training events.
What you bring
- A Medical Doctor qualification and at least five years of relevant clinical experience in acute care, intensive care, nephrology, renal replacement therapy or extracorporeal therapies.
- Deep knowledge of CRRT and related acute therapies, with the confidence to interpret data and make complex science clear.
- A strong record in medical education, scientific presentation and engagement with healthcare professionals and external experts.
- Excellent written and spoken English, plus the relevant local language for your market.
- Strategic judgement, intellectual curiosity and the ability to deliver across countries, cultures and functions.
- Strong knowledge of medical communication, ethics, compliance and, where applicable, GCP.
- The drive to take ownership, manage competing priorities and turn plans into results.
Even better if you have
- Regional or international Medical Affairs leadership experience.
- Experience in clinical research, registries, real-world evidence or GCP-governed activities.
- Recent clinical practice and experience educating healthcare professionals.
- Postgraduate specialist training, a PhD or another advanced qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Experience synthesising literature and presenting science to external audiences.
Location and travel
This is a remote role based within selected European markets, with approximately 40% travel across EMEA and the relevant cluster for strategic customer engagements, congresses, education, evidence-generation activities and high-impact initiatives.
Ready to shape what comes next?
Join us to influence medical strategy across one of the world’s most diverse regions, collaborate with leading clinical experts and help advance the future of acute therapies. Your science will inform decisions. Your voice will shape strategy. Your work will help improve care.
If you are an EMEA-based physician who combines clinical credibility with strategic ambition, we want to hear from you.
