We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Regional Marketing Executive (Automobile)

Locations: Enugu and Port Harcourt - Rivers

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports To: Regional Marketing Lead

Direct Reports: None

Portfolio: All MTD portfolios within the assigned territory, including TVS, mobility, lubricants and tyres (brands to be confirmed), Titan Spare Parts and Renova

Role Purpose

  • To execute approved marketing activities within the assigned territory to generate qualified leads, support dealers and maintain consistent brand visibility.
  • The role serves as a link between the central marketing team, regional Sales teams, dealers and customers by ensuring effective activity execution, accurate lead tracking and timely market feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement approved regional marketing plans by developing weekly activity schedules and coordinating timelines, resources and logistics with the Regional Marketing Lead.

  • Execute dealer activations, product demonstrations, roadshows, events and local partnerships in line with approved marketing briefs.

  • Generate, qualify and accurately record customer and trade enquiries, ensuring leads are assigned to the appropriate Sales contacts and recorded without duplication.

  • Work with regional Sales teams and dealers to monitor lead acceptance and follow-up, document outcomes and escalate delayed handovers.

  • Support priority dealers through approved point-of-sale materials, local promotions and product communication, while tracking outstanding support needs.

  • Monitor brand visibility across dealer locations and showrooms, address issues within the scope of authority and coordinate necessary repairs or replacements through the Regional Marketing Lead.

  • Conduct market visits to gather competitor information, customer feedback and channel insights, identifying local opportunities and escalating significant risks.

  • Monitor approved marketing expenditure and assets, reconcile supporting documents, and submit accurate weekly updates and monthly performance reports.

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Qualified Demand Generated: Measures the number of unique, qualified leads accepted by Sales from assigned marketing activities against the agreed territory target.

  • Measurement Source: CRM system or controlled lead register.

  • Performance Standard: Qualification criteria, lead attribution and targets will be agreed with the Regional Marketing Lead and Sales within the first 30 days. Duplicate and unaccepted leads will be excluded. Performance will be reviewed monthly.

  • Regional Marketing Activity Delivery: Measures the percentage of activities in the approved regional marketing plan completed to the agreed brief and accepted by the deadline.

  • Measurement Source: Activity calendar and completion evidence.

  • Performance Standard: Targets will be agreed within the first 30 days based on the delivery baseline. Performance will be reviewed monthly, with approved changes documented before the relevant deadlines.

  • Priority Dealer Support Coverage: Measures the percentage of assigned priority dealers due for support within the approved period who receive the agreed marketing support.

  • Measurement Source: Dealer support plan and verified visit or activity records.

  • Performance Standard: The priority dealer list, support commitments and coverage targets will be confirmed with the Regional Marketing Lead within the first 30 days. Performance will be reviewed monthly.

  • Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline.

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in field, trade, channel or brand marketing, with demonstrated hands-on execution experience.

  • Experience supporting dealers or distributor-led marketing programmes.

  • Exposure to the automotive, mobility, aftermarket or FMCG sectors is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in maintaining lead and expenditure records using spreadsheets, CRM systems or equivalent reporting tools.

  • Ability to reside in the assigned territory, travel frequently within the region and communicate effectively with dealers, customers and Sales teams.

Salary

N300,000 - N400,000 monthly.
