Job title: Regional Manager, Medical Information Communications
About the Role The Regional Manager for Medical Information Communications is responsible for managing all business in the region, setting and executing regional goals and development plans, building a high-performing, productive, and motivated team, and ensuring compliant medical information activities. This role provides coaching and oversight for Medical Information Communications Specialists, supports personal and professional development, and contributes to regional market strategy and execution.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute regional business plans and drive the team to achieve company and regional targets.
- Recruit personnel meeting company requirements, conduct regular performance and behavior evaluations, and implement rewards or incentives.
- Develop and implement programs to cultivate team compliance awareness, regulate work behavior, and ensure authenticity and compliance of all activities.
- Create and execute plans to enhance team members’ professional knowledge and skills, providing guidance and support for individual development.
- Provide targeted coaching through planned follow-up discussions with specialists on regional business activities and market initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, uncover regional opportunities, and provide feedback to inform company strategy.
- Coordinate and effectively implement projects and activities, allocate and control resources, and manage processes to ensure authenticity and effectiveness.
- Maintain ongoing communication with key customers in the region and continuously optimize partner relationships.
- Stay informed about current and future policies affecting the business; collaborate with relevant functions to participate in or coordinate regional market access work when required.
- Establish and maintain effective communication systems, including regular regional meetings, reporting to supervisors, and cross-department collaboration.
- Advise on development of business policies and internal policies to enable efficient operations.
- Support innovative initiatives, lead teams in implementing new initiatives, and proactively explore opportunities and methods for innovation.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
What We're Looking For
- Education: college diploma or above in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences or related fields is preferred.
- Skills: proficient in MS Office, good English; strong knowledge in relevant product areas; strong influence and strategic thinking; excellent communication, planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities; strong teamwork; strong willingness to learn; self-motivation, self-challenge, and ability to manage stress.
- Experience: at least 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience as a medical representative with a compliant performance record and potential for management; pharmaceutical industry business management experience is a plus.
- Integrity: able to rigorously adhere to company policies, industry guidelines, and laws, including FCPA and Mainland anti-corruption laws; maintain honesty and transparency with no past legal violations.
- Internal applicants: internal candidates must meet compliance investigation requirements; at least 2 years of Pfizer Medical Representative experience; early-stage talent preferred.

Nice to Have
- Pharmaceutical industry experience in business management is preferred.
- Internal Pfizer candidates with at least 2 years as Medical Representatives and a compliant track record are preferred.
