About the Role A skilled, dependable Traveling Maintenance Technician who will service Workout Anytime Tennessee clubs, ensuring safe, clean, fully operational facilities and an excellent member experience. What You'll Do
- Facility Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to club facilities; troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, lighting, drywall, flooring, painting, doors, locks, windows; maintain HVAC components; ensure emergency exits and safety equipment are operational.
- Fitness Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Matrix treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, stair climbers, rowers, functional trainers, selectorized equipment, free weights; lubrication, belt tracking, cable and pulley replacements, console troubleshooting, calibration; warranty repair coordination with manufacturers.
- Recovery & Member Amenity Maintenance: Maintain HydroMassage lounges, tanning beds, saunas, massage chairs, water stations, TV systems, club audio systems, charging stations; replace tanning lamps; maintain cooling for tanning; troubleshoot HydroMassage electronics and mechanical systems; coordinate with manufacturers for specialty repairs.
- Club Operations Support: Respond to maintenance requests; prioritize emergencies; assist with remodels, equipment installations, flooring projects, and facility upgrades; assemble and install new equipment; coordinate with vendors; assist with after-hours maintenance when needed.
- Technology & Building Systems: Maintain electronic door access, member entry scanners, security cameras, alarm systems, basic networking, Wi-Fi points, TV displays, digital signage, music systems; coordinate with approved vendors for repairs beyond internal capabilities.
- Administrative Responsibilities: Complete work orders accurately; document repairs and parts; manage repair materials inventory; recommend capital improvements; communicate status to club management and Director of Operations. What We're Looking For
- Traveling technician able to diagnose and repair building systems, commercial fitness equipment, and member amenities across multiple Tennessee clubs.
- Hands-on, mechanically inclined with the ability to independently diagnose and repair facility systems.
- Willingness and ability to travel among listed Tennessee locations (Spring Hill, Hermitage, Smyrna, Cookeville, Crossville, Morristown, Hixson). Nice to Have
