About this role

About the Role This field-based role in Abbott's Cardiac Rhythm Management Leadless division focuses on driving adoption and clinical success of leadless pacing technology. Based in San Francisco, CA, you will provide technical, clinical and educational support to healthcare providers and internal teams to expand access and improve patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Educate physicians, nurses, educators, and other health care providers on indications and patient selection for leadless pacing
  • Provide procedural support in accordance with use/trial protocols and best practices to facilitate procedural consistency and optimal clinical outcomes
  • Assist in education and training activities for Abbott personnel
  • Stay abreast of and communicate clinical data regarding leadless CRM products
  • Coordinate/deliver/implement programs and resources to facilitate market expansion and therapy access
  • Provide market intelligence for refining therapy training and expansion plans
  • Liaise with marketing for technology improvements and feedback on next-generation products
  • Complete administrative reporting as assigned
  • Exercise judgment in planning and organizing work; monitor performance and report status
  • Use best business practices to ensure success and cost effectiveness in areas of responsibility
  • Ensure employee compliance with Abbott policies and practices

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (engineering) or equivalent/related experience
  • 3-5 years clinical medical device experience or equivalent, ideally with CRM products
  • Comprehensive ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices
  • Ability to collaborate and work with others effectively
  • High level of comfort navigating the medical environment, to include labs and hospital settings
  • Proven success displaying confidence in leading & influencing customers; ability to confidently provide guidance to course correct as needed
  • Ability to prepare and present effectively written and verbal communications
  • Thorough familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations and procedures
  • Expert verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and applications, such as Microsoft Office
  • This position requires a considerable amount of business travel
  • Preferred: Previous cardiac leadless device training/education certification or designation
  • Preferred: Previous sales experience and/or demonstrated business acumen

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay: $78,000.00 – $156,000.00 per year
