Job title: Regional IS&T Project Manager
About the Role The Regional IS&T Project Manager will lead and manage complex IT infrastructure projects from conception to successful delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication, planning, and execution of project goals, and contributing to long-term infrastructure strategies. You will provide direction, mentoring, and coordination to foster a high-performing team culture. Manage budgets, resources, and contracts to ensure project success within approved scope, budget, and timelines. Forecast future projects based on team capacity and optimize resource usage.
What You'll Do
- Lead planning, design, and execution of complex IT infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Establish and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and suppliers for effective collaboration.
- Develop project plans, schedules, monitor progress, and report results to senior management and stakeholders.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and drive measurable impact; stay informed of new trends and technologies and encourage beneficial changes.
- Play an active role in implementing new IT infrastructure solutions; facilitate WAN/telecom circuit deployment and provide technical support during outages; occasionally participate in direct IT problem resolution.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, especially in designing and supporting IT infrastructure.
- Deep knowledge and interest in information and communication technologies and networks/infrastructures.
- Ability to coordinate multicultural and diverse teams productively and respectfully.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- This is a global role requiring influence across a broad range of IS&T and business stakeholders; distributed leadership and a pragmatic approach to continuous improvement will be key; exceptional communication skills are required to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset in relationships with international partners, suppliers, colleagues and clients; in Quebec, French remains the primary work language.
Nice to Have
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Additional language proficiency beyond French is an asset.
