Job title: Regional HR Manager for EMEA
About the Role We are hiring a Regional HR Manager for the EMEA region to lead Canonical's regional People team and help shape the HR function for future growth. The role reports to the Global Head of HR and will drive precise, compliant, and scalable HR operations across the employee lifecycle while partnering with regional senior leadership to drive growth and shape the HR function for the future.
What You'll Do
- Lead the EMEA team of HR professionals to provide precise, compliant, and scalable HR operations across the business.
- Advise and execute on HR issues across the full employee lifecycle, partnering with regional senior leadership and ensuring alignment with global HR strategy.
- Collaborate with the Global Head of HR and other regional leaders to shape and build the HR function for growth in a globally distributed environment.
- Support Canonical's distributed model with remote teams across 75+ countries, including coordination for in-person strategy and alignment meetings two to four times a year.
What We're Looking For
- Experience leading a regional HR function (EMEA) or equivalent in a global organization.
- Strong HR operations experience with a focus on compliance and employee lifecycle management.
- Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to partner with and influence senior leaders; excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing, globally distributed company and building scalable HR processes.
