Job Description
Purpose
This role is part of a team responsible for reporting, forecasting, and analyzing the Asia Pacific region’s financial and management results. It offers a strong balance of challenging and engaging work in an excellent environment, with exposure to a wide range of business units.
Responsibilities
- Support the monthly forecasting and budgeting process, with a focus on expense reporting, analysis, and commentary.
- Work closely with countries to support the compilation of regional submissions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of results.
- Perform detailed review and analysis of expense data, identifying key variances, trends, and drivers versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Support the month-end close process, including preparation and posting of ad hoc journal entries and completion of reconciliations.
- Assist with the annual strategic planning and budgeting process, including preparation of expense budget reports and templates for regional and Head Office submission.
- Run and update regional managed processes and maintain the management reporting tool (TM1) where required.
- Collaborate with the team on projects, including user acceptance testing (UAT), issue identification, and implementation of fixes and enhancements.
- Respond to stakeholder enquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing clear and accurate support.
- Contribute to ad hoc analysis and other finance-related tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Accountancy
- Preferably 3-5 years accounting/ FP&A experience
- Experience in using TM1 would be a plus
- Excellent excel skills
- Proactive with a can-do positive attitude, able to work under pressure and able to work well under tight deadlines
- Possess an analytical mind and able to drill down to details as required
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of the English language
- Strong orientation to teamwork and partnering
