About the Role Xylem is seeking a Regional Driver to operate a DOT-regulated vehicle and service water treatment equipment at customer sites. The role involves regional travel from Carterville, IL, with a mix of local and overnight trips, and an on-call rotation. What You'll Do
- Safely operate a DOT-regulated vehicle (CDL-A) and comply with all DOT regulations.
- Transport materials/equipment from point A to point B; may be customer facing but not required.
- Service water treatment equipment at customer sites within IL, TN, KY, OH, WI, MN, and MI, starting from Carterville, IL.
- Manage routes with roughly 60% overnight travel and 40% local travel.
- Maintain a clean driving record and ensure DOT Medical card is current.
- Obtain and maintain required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.) as applicable.
- Understand weight requirements and distribution; ensure weight compliance on routes.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and overtime opportunities, including occasional afternoons/weekends.
- Prioritize safety and customer service to support water technology solutions. What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of CDL Class A driving experience.
- Ability to drive overnight and on difficult routes.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain DOT Medical card.
- Ability to obtain required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.).
- Willingness to travel regularly from Carterville, IL to IL/TN/KY/OH/WI/MN/MI (approximately 60% overnight).
- Ability to understand weight requirements / weight distribution. Compensation & Benefits
- The estimated salary range for this position is $27 to $31/hour. Starting pay depends on skills and experience.
