Job title: Regional Construction and Commissioning (CCX) Technician
About the Role As a Regional Construction and Commissioning (CCX) Technician at Johnson Controls, you will execute, perform and coordinate construction and commissioning tasks related to Silent-Aire products. You will be responsible for AHU commissioning, client relations, safety program compliance, and project handover, aiming to achieve high operating performance and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate day-to-day regional CCX services including inspection, installation, start-up, functional testing, and troubleshooting on Silent-Aire equipment.
- Coordinate and communicate input at all stages of project completion—from installation to commissioning and handover to the client’s project team.
- Engage with SAE Engineering design and QA/QC teams to understand operational requirements and provide feedback on issues or improvements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships; research and resolve customer questions, problems or complaints.
- Develop and maintain expert technical knowledge across the product/service line; monitor progress of regional projects and report milestones and risks.
- Provide field support on projects as required; contribute to building regional infrastructure and client base; collaborate with APAC technicians and management to improve profitability.
- Generate daily reports; ensure paperwork is completed timely; collect, analyze and summarize data and trends; maintain confidentiality; adhere to business and quality systems.
- Perform other duties and hands-on tasks as required.
What We're Looking For
- A university or college degree in engineering or related technical discipline is an asset; related trade school education/certification is an asset.
- Minimum five years of experience as a technician, preferably in HVAC; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing, references, driving record and background check.
- Strong analytical and computer skills; ability to learn product/service line and apply technical knowledge.
