Regional Commercial Underwriter - Credit Specialties

About the Role Atradius Credit Specialties team is seeking an Underwriter with experience in credit insurance, structured trade credit and banking to support the development of the Asia-Pacific portfolio including Australia and New Zealand. The successful candidate will join a dedicated underwriting team in Singapore and will work with brokers to identify, review and underwrite opportunities, with occasional travel. What You'll Do

• Evaluate credit risks and transaction structures received from brokers; identify, quote and bind profitable business in line with governance, authority and strategy.
• Collaborate with the Atradius Analyst Credit Specialties teams to support underwriting and execution of new and renewal business; manage and service the existing portfolio.
• Conduct due diligence, onboarding of new clients and share knowledge within the team; build network within the Asia CPRI market and attend conferences and broker/client meetings.
• Maintain awareness of market dynamics, sector drivers and macro risks to support unit performance; coordinate with other Credit Specialties teams and Atradius entities in Asia (including Australia and New Zealand).
• Provide high standard of service to brokers and clients; update claim files in collaboration with the claims team; occasional travel for client meetings and events. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in Trade/Structured Credit Insurance and/or financial institutions.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; commitment to delivering high client service and maintaining broker relationships.
• Experience in portfolio management and servicing existing client relationships; ability to originate, assess, price and bind profitable opportunities.
• Knowledge of market dynamics, sector risks, and macroeconomic trends in Asia; proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, broker engagement and industry events (local and international).
• Fluency in English; additional Asian language skills are advantageous. Nice to Have
