About the Role CDL Class A flatbed truck driver for Opulent Transport, LLC. The role emphasizes dependable, efficient driving with ability to be on the road long hours and return home the same day 95% of the time. You will operate a vehicle over 26,000 lbs GVW, stay on routes, and work independently while following safety and DOT regulations. What You'll Do
- Fully operate and safely drive the assigned vehicle
- Drive vehicles with GVW over 26,000 lbs
- Pick up and transport goods, lumber, etc. to the intended destination; tarp, strap, chain and use binders to secure a load
- Ensure contents are properly secured in a truck, flatbed to prevent damage/injury; obtain signatures to confirm deliveries
- Stay on a predetermined route and ensure timely transport and delivery
- Communicate with dispatch as needed
- Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip; maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
- Adhere to company rules, regulations; obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to weather/road conditions; comply with ICC and DOT regulations What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required
- 3+ years of proven FLATBED experience
- Clean driving record with no moving violations
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles; able to lift up to 50 lbs
- GPS proficiency; map/route planning skills
- Alert, focused, detail-oriented, disciplined, dependable, and resourceful Nice to Have
- Experience tarping, strapping, chaining and using binders to secure a load Compensation & Benefits
