About the Role

Nilfisk is seeking a Refurbishment Technician to support the Refurb center by cleaning, refurbishing used floor scrubbers, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to meet refurbished standards. This role performs routine duties, uses field service management software, and collaborates with the Branch Supervisor to maintain quality and efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Clean, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial floor cleaning equipment in the Refurbish Branch.
• Complete required service reports, time sheets, and other branch documentation as directed by the Branch Supervisor.
• Maintain up-to-date training and certifications for the position.
• Keep stock levels properly stocked and accurate.
• Load and unload freight using a forklift and manage related safety procedures.
• Report design, reliability, and maintenance issues using field service management software.

What We're Looking For

• 3 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years prior experience in a similar or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Understanding of internal combustion engines; ability to use basic electrical testing/diagnostic equipment; knowledge of AC/DC electrical theory.
• Proficiency with MS Office and business applications.
• English reading, writing, and speaking; ability to write routine reports and communicate with customers or employees.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities; ability to handle multiple variables in standardized situations.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $27.45-$34.30 per hour. This range is indicative and may vary based on qualifications; not inclusive of bonuses, overtime, or other incentives.
