Reformer Pilates Instructor
Hiring Unit Athletics and Recreation
Position Summary: Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the Reformer Pilates Instructor is responsible for leading safe and engaging classes. The instructor is responsible for but not limited to the listed responsibilities below.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate a Reformer Pilates Group Fitness class
- Adapt classes to the specific groups - ranging from beginners to advanced
- As required, modify moves/techniques for participants who may have limitations
- Address any emergency issues requiring attention to supervisor or security
MUST BE PROFICIENT IN TEACHING THE FOLLOWING DISCIPLINE:
- Reformer Pilates
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
- Emergency OR Standard First Aid and CPR C Certification (REQUIRED)
- Reformer Pilates certification (REQUIRED)

Knowledge of English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 4 on a scale of 0-4.
Minimum Education and Experience: High School Diploma 3 Years Related Experience
Hourly Salary: (AMUSE D) $52.00
Estimated Number of Work Hours per Week: 10 (Part time)
