  • The Recruitment Specialist and Transfer Scholars Coordinator supports Olivet Nazarene University's community college partnerships and transfer enrollment initiatives. This position serves as a primary resource for prospective and current transfer students by assisting with transfer recruitment, transfer pathway development, advising, and administration of the Transfer Scholars Program.

  • Working collaboratively with community college partners, admissions staff, academic departments, advising, and Enrollment Management, this position helps create a seamless transfer experience that promotes student success, persistence, and enrollment growth. The successful candidate will also serve as a cross-trained member of the Enrollment Management team, supporting Graduate and Continuing Studies online recruitment initiatives as institutional needs require.

  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills in both on-campus and off-campus settings.

  • Build and maintain positive professional relationships with students, faculty, staff, community college personnel, and external partners.

  • Exhibit exceptional organizational skills while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Handle confidential student and institutional information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, student information systems, and other university software applications.

  • Provide exceptional customer service while demonstrating initiative, professionalism, and sound judgment.

  • Work independently while contributing collaboratively to departmental and institutional enrollment goals.

  • Participate in cross-training and professional development opportunities to support Enrollment Management initiatives.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external educational partners.

  • Willingness to travel and work occasionally evenings or weekends to support recruitment and partnership events.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Experience in higher education admissions, recruitment, academic advising, enrollment management, or community college partnerships preferred.

  • Work Environment

  • This position is primarily based at the Heritage Office with regular travel to community colleges, partner institutions, transfer fairs, and recruitment events. Some evening and occasional weekend responsibilities are required. Travel is expected to support recruitment activities, partnership development, student advising, and Transfer Scholars Program initiatives. Mileage and approved travel expenses are reimbursed according to university policy.

  • This is a 12-month, full-time staff position.

  • Supplemental Information

  • The annual salary for this position is $43,000. Additional considerations will be made for relevant experience and educational background.
