About the Role ExxonMobil’s Global Business Solutions team in Budapest is seeking a Record to Report Analyst to support financial services for more than 200 affiliates in the EMEA region. This role focuses on financial statement reporting and month-end close processes, requiring attention to detail and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will contribute to accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and continuous process improvements.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support decision-making processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and ad hoc analysis for management and stakeholders.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the record to report cycle.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in financial statement reporting and preparing accounting journals.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • CPA or relevant certifications are a plus.
