Located in the heart of Birmingham city centre, just moments from New Street Station, ibis Birmingham New Street Station hotel welcomes guests from around the world. We're looking for a friendly, energetic and customer-focused Reception Team Member to join our team. This is a full-time role with a salary of up to £12.71 per hour plus benefits.
You'll likely be the first person our guests meet so you'll need to create great first impressions, deliver excellent service and help ensure they enjoy a smooth and welcoming stay.
What you'll be doing
- Welcome guests and manage check-ins and check-outs
- Handle reservations, enquiries and guest requests
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Promote hotel services and facilities
- Resolve guest queries efficiently and professionally
- Work closely with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience
What we're looking for
- A friendly and approachable personality
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence using computers and hotel systems
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is beneficial
