Real Estate Closing Specialist / Paralegal

Location: Lakewood Ranch, FL (4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote After Training)

A well-established law firm is seeking a Real Estate Closing Specialist / Paralegal to support its growing real estate practice. This client-facing role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience handling residential real estate transactions from contract through closing and post-closing. The firm offers a collaborative culture, strong employee retention, and long-term growth opportunities.

The Role

  • Manage residential real estate transactions from contract through post-closing
  • Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, agents, title companies, and attorneys
  • Review title commitments, surveys, and assist with title clearance
  • Prepare and review closing documents, deeds, affidavits, and settlement statements
  • Conduct closings and ensure accurate execution of documents
  • Balance, disburse, and reconcile escrow funds
  • Record documents and handle post-closing matters
  • Assist attorneys with title review, due diligence, and transactional support
  • Maintain organized files and compliance with Florida closing requirements

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, standard business hours
  • First 90 days fully onsite
  • Hybrid schedule available thereafter (4 days onsite / 1 day remote)

Compensation

  • $70,000–$90,000 DOE
  • Comprehensive benefits package

Ideal Background

  • 2+ years of residential real estate closing or real estate paralegal experience
  • Knowledge of Florida real estate closings, title insurance, escrow administration, and recording requirements
  • Experience reviewing title commitments and resolving title issues
  • Florida Notary Public required
  • Florida Title Agent License preferred
  • Law firm, title company, or real estate practice experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and closing software
