About the Role We’re looking for a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to join Cemex. The Ready-Mix Truck Driver’s primary responsibility is to safely operate the concrete mixer, delivering loads to commercial and residential work sites. This role may involve navigating uneven terrain and handling extension chutes weighing 30 to 50 pounds. What You'll Do
- Safely operate the concrete mixer and deliver loads to job sites in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Manage discharge methods to suit various site settings and conditions.
- Attach and manage extension chutes as necessary for precise concrete pouring.
- Maintain cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the ready-mix truck.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a professional image for Cemex.
- Coordinate with dispatch and team members for efficient operations. What We're Looking For
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B).
- High School diploma preferred.
- Must be FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse compliant.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Acceptable CSA and MVR record; no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years; no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Strong safety protocol knowledge for construction and transportation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow supervisor guidance.
- Knowledge of traffic routes and basic maintenance skills for truck upkeep (desirable). Compensation & Benefits
- Base compensation ranges from $28.01 to $36.79 per hour, depending on market location, knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
