Job title: R&D Research Technician - Poultry

About the Role R&D Research Technician - Poultry at Nutreco's Poultry Experimental Centre / R&D. You will support experimental studies and contribute to the development of tools, methodologies, products, and concepts in animal nutrition.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and execute study protocols precisely at our farm-based experimental facilities and designated field trial sites.
• Ensure the quality of methods, data, and feeds used in each trial; perform production and laboratory activities under supervision for internal and external studies.
• Collaborate with the regulatory specialist to support EU additive exemption requests for non-registered products.
• Develop and implement new techniques and methodologies in farm and laboratory environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve study quality, efficiency, and consistency with animals.
• Represent the Research & Development group during internal and external visits.
• Ensure clear, proactive communication between farm, feed mill, laboratory, and research teams on all study quality aspects.

What We're Looking For

• Responsible, proactive person with interest in scientific research; practical, well-organized, and passionate about quality and data accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Technical or university degree in Veterinary Science or related field.
• Experience with executing study protocols, lab work, sample handling, or data collection is a plus.
• Knowledge or interest in quality systems (ISO 9001) and good experimental practices.
• Intermediate–high English; strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Analytical thinking, curiosity, and focus on improvement and operational excellence.

• Experience or interest in working in rural farm environments and aviary setups.
