About this role
About the Role Manager of an R&D engineering projects team at Alstom. You will ensure the team meets Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) commitments, oversee workloads, subcontracting activities and continuous improvement through the APSYS program, collaborating across the company and leveraging collective experience. You will specifically handle updating performance indicators, managing team capacity based on workload and supervising subcontracting processes. You will also be responsible for project allocation based on needs, conducting personnel evaluations and promoting team development. What You'll Do
- Ensure the R&D team meets its QCD commitments.
- Manage and update workload and subcontracting activities.
- Define and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
- Leverage feedback from team members' experiences.
- Apply and respect Alstom directives and standards.
- Regularly update the team's skills matrix.
- Contribute to evolving our ways of working. What We're Looking For
- Engineering degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- At least five years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Knowledge of electro-technical components.
- Proficiency in English.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage a team of about 3 people. Nice to Have
- Project or team management certification is a plus.
