Job Summary

At ModMed, we are looking for a Payment Posting Specialist to join our inaugural "Seed Team" in India. You will be a vital link between our daily operations and our future, working closely with the RCM Automation Team and RCM Lab to demonstrate current workflows and test groundbreaking new processes. Your expertise will ensure that as we scale and automate, we maintain the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency for our providers.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Payment Posting & Reconciliation: Post payments and reconcile cash accurately according to defined ModMed processes.
• Process Demonstration & Testing: Partner with Automation and RCM Lab teams to demonstrate existing workflows. Actively support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new processes, providing critical insights and observations
• Credit & Refund Management: Process credit refunds following established protocols.
• Mentorship & Quality Support: Handhold and support newer team members to improve their functional knowledge, productivity, and quality.
• Quality Assurance: Perform self-audits to ensure all deliverables meet strict quality standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other RCM teams to share insights and align on instructions.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in RCM Payment Posting and related front-end functions (Credits, Rejections, etc.).
• Technical

Skills

• Deep knowledge of Payment Posting, Credit Refunds, and Rejection processes.

• Ability to post payments from both Electronic and Paper Remits with 99% accuracy.

• Shift Flexibility: Must be able to work the India night shift for the first 2–3 months before transitioning to the day shift.

• Compliance: Ability to meet all HIPAA and ModMed compliance standards

• Preferred Qualifications

• Field of Study: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Commerce

• Certifications: Quality certification, such as a Six Sigma Green Belt
