About the Role We are looking for a RAMS Specialist to join the Rail & Transit team at IDOM in Madrid, Bilbao or Barcelona. You will work on national and international railway projects within a multidisciplinary environment, focusing on RAMS to ensure safety, reliability and interoperability across project lifecycles. What You'll Do
- Functional and interface safety analysis
- Safety requirements tracking
- Test specification review
- Test results reports review
- Verification reports preparation
- Safety reports preparation
- Reliability studies, including FMECA and FTA preparation
- RAMS Plan preparation
- Safety Plan preparation
- Support for AsBo documentation
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across projects and geographies
- Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the Rail & Transit team. What We're Looking For
- Degree in Civil, Industrial, or related Engineering with relevance to RAMS responsibilities
- A Master’s or Postgraduate degree related to RAMS management in railway projects will be valued
- At least 3 years of experience in railway RAMS engineering, railway inspection, interoperability, or Regulation 402 (Common Safety Methods)
- Previous experience in the railway sector and RAMS activities is a plus
- Fluent English (minimum level B2/C1), written and spoken; other languages valued
- Familiarity with interoperability (TSI)
- Strong analytical skills and proficient in report writing
- Team player with autonomy, flexibility, technical rigor, and an international mindset
- Eager to learn and grow in an international company like IDOM Nice to Have
- Master’s or Postgraduate degree specifically related to RAMS management in railway projects will be valued
- Previous experience in the railway sector RAMS activities is a plus
