Job title: RAMS Engineer (VIE)
About the Role At Alstom, the RAMS Engineer (VIE) will perform reliability and safety analyses, produce RAMS deliverables, and ensure alignment with QCD commitments. S/he will apply Alstom’s RAMS processes, address customer and independent party comments to obtain approvals, and assess RAMS performance to identify requirements and drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Perform RAMS analyses and deliverables aligned with Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments
- Apply Alstom’s RAMS processes and instructions
- Deliver RAMS analyses that meet customer and project requirements
- Address customer and independent party comments to secure approvals for RAMS deliverables
- Assess the RAMS performance of products and identify necessary requirements to meet targets
- Report on progress while proactively addressing challenges and fostering continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Rolling Stock Engineering, Electrical or Electro-mechanical Engineering, or a related field (RAMS competency training will be provided)
- Experience or understanding of RAMS analysis and demonstration methods and tools
- Knowledge of engineering processes and safety standards
- Familiarity with technical documentation in French and English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Proactive and structured approach to problem-solving
- Bilingualism; proficiency in French and English is required (knowledge of a third language is an asset)
