About the Role RAMS Engineer for Electrification and Track subsystems will join Alstom's Infrastructure RAMS team in Paris Saint-Ouen. You will serve as the point of contact for RAMS topics on assigned projects or products, coordinating with project teams to assess RAMS performance and proactively manage railway safety risks across all project phases. What You'll Do
- Be the RAMS point of contact for the project, engaging with customer, ISA, Safety Authorities, and internal teams (design, industrial, sourcing, validation) to resolve RAMS-related matters.
- Perform RAMS analyses in accordance with Railway CENELEC standards and contract requirements; plan and deliver RAMS deliverables to meet milestones.
- Ensure the quality and acceptance of RAMS deliverables by Customer, Independent parties, and Safety Authorities.
- Advocate Alstom's RAMS approach and demonstration methodology to customers and stakeholders.
- Apply internal RAMS processes and instructions, and support stakeholders in defining and closing RAMS actions with documented evidence.
- Proactively assess design options to define suitable technical solutions and control railway safety risks; develop a challenging view on RAM results to strengthen requirements. What We're Looking For
- University Degree in Engineering or equivalent; solid knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
- Knowledge/experience in RAM/Safety Management, preferably in railway industry, or Aerospace/ Defence/Space/ Military/ Nuclear/ Chemical sectors; or experience in Electrical and/or Electro-mechanical Engineering applied to Railway products.
- Fluent in English and French; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Structured, prioritized, hands-on, and organized; ability to work across teams and travel occasionally for short-term missions.
