About the Role A staff level Radiologic Technologist position at Dayton Children's Main Campus focused on producing quality diagnostic images for patients of all ages using all available diagnostic equipment including EKG and patient registration, with service coverage as needed across locations.
What You'll Do
- Produce quality diagnostic images for patients of all ages using radiologic equipment, including EKG and patient registration.
- Perform tasks with minimal supervision while adhering to quality parameters set by Medical Imaging Dept @ DC.
- Educate patients and their parents about procedures performed within the center.
- Maintain competency and complete required education including CPR, Ohio licensure, ARRT registration, hospital-wide Mandatory Education, and EKG requirements as established by Cardiology.
- Strive to meet departmental goals re: patient satisfaction, registration accuracy, and Cardiology EKG QA/QC.
- Work with other departments to provide a smooth continuum of care for individual patients; use appropriate hospital contacts to resolve patient issues and coordinate systems with accuracy.
- Maintain integrity of DC reputation and standards of care in an off-site setting.
- May be required to cover shifts at any Dayton Children's location as needed.
What We're Looking For
- HSD/GED required; Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences required.
- Radiologic License - Ohio Department of Health required.
- ARRT in Radiography required.
- CPR required.
- Ability to educate patients and families; strong communication; patient-centered care.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and coordinate with multiple departments.
