Radio Officer II
Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) was established in 1954 by ports Act Cap 155 of the law of the Federation of Nigeria - amended 1999 as an operating port with the responsibility of providing all port services. It was initially responsible for two major ports in Lagos and Port Harcourt, and in 1969 became responsible for all other ports.

Qualified professionals in electrical/electronics engineering, information technology and maritime communications can apply for the position of Radio Officer II.
Qualifications: Applicants should possess a BSc or HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a relevant discipline. Candidates are also expected to possess the Standard of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) certification. Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) certification is also required. The position requires candidates with appropriate technical knowledge and professional competence in maritime radio communication. Age requirement: candidates should be between 23 and 35 years of age. The position is classified under SSS 4 / GL 08. Radio officers play an important role in maritime communication and the safe coordination of vessels and port activities.
