About the Role
Cape Fox Concentric Methods, LLC is seeking a Radiation Therapy Medical Physicist to provide radiation therapy physics and support services to the Department of Radiology at Madigan Army Medical Center, Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The role involves clinical work with advanced radiation therapy equipment and planning systems, ensuring QA and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do

Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of a dual-photon and multi-electron energy linear accelerator with MLC and EPID capable of IGRT and IMRT.

Commission and maintain a 3D treatment planning system for IGRT, IMRT, and brachytherapy plans.

Conduct routine QA and performance testing using ion chambers, diodes, film, TLD, and other QA tools, per AAPM guidelines.

Collaborate with the team using Varian Aria, Eclipse, Pinnacle, Ray Station, and Varian Variseed for planning and delivery.

Prepare documentation including health requirements and vaccinations as required.

Maintain active clinical practice in radiation therapy physics for at least 12 months within the last two years.

What We're Looking For

Clinical experience with acceptance testing and commissioning of a dual-photon and multi-electron energy linear accelerator with MLC and EPID capable of IGRT and IMRT.

Experience with a 3D treatment planning system capable of IGRT, IMRT, and brachytherapy.

Experience with routine QA / performance testing equipment (ion chambers, diodes, film, TLD, etc.) and techniques per current AAPM recommendations.

Experience with Varian Aria, Eclipse, Pinnacle, Ray Station, and Varian Variseed treatment planning systems.

Required to provide documentation certifying health requirements (immunizations, annual vaccinations, medical testing, and physical examination when required).

Currently proficient in clinical radiation therapy physics technology demonstrated by active practice of at least 12 months within the last two years.

Nice to Have

Experience with total body photon irradiation, total skin electron irradiation; low dose rate and high dose rate brachytherapy modalities, intensity modulated radiotherapy, image-guided radiotherapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, and real-time position management.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $215,000 - $226,720 per year.
