About the Role
As a Radiation Therapist at Endeavor Health, you will administer radiation therapy to treat cancer and other diseases, support simulations and treatment planning, and perform required procedures. You will contribute to quality assurance activities and work across multiple hospital locations in our system.
What You'll Do
- Administer radiation therapy for the purpose of treating diseases, primarily cancer
- Perform simulations, treatment planning, and special procedures
- Perform quality assurance activities, detecting equipment malfunctions and taking appropriate action
- Perform weekly chart checks
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and dosimetrists to optimize patient care
What We're Looking For
- License: IEMA license and ARRT required; must obtain ARRT within 2 years of employment
- Education: Completion of a radiation therapy program; minimum of a two-year associate degree/certificate
- Certification: CPR certification required
- Experience: Previous experience strongly preferred
- Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills
