About the Role
Follows the prescription plan and delivers radiation therapy to patients as ordered by the physician. Collaborates with front office staff, radiation oncology nurse, physicists and dosimetrist to ensure every patient is given accurate, precise, and high quality treatment in an emotionally healing environment. Provides support, as appropriate, in all aspects of the treatment process.
What You'll Do
- Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
- Delivers accurate radiation therapy treatments with high technical quality using proper set-up and calculation parameters.
- Processes and films orthogonal/port films prescribed by physician; obtains port films in accordance with the department portal vision protocols.
