Summary:
Microsoft is hiring a Quantum Engineer for the Microsoft Quantum team. The role focuses on designing and testing scalable readout systems for topological quantum computers and advancing quantum computing technology.
Responsibilities include developing qubit readout circuitry, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, analyzing measurement results, creating engineering tools and processes, and supporting quantum research efforts.
Candidates need a Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of industry or research experience. Preferred experience includes quantum measurement techniques, RF readout systems, semiconductor devices, cryogenic microwave experiments, and low-noise amplifiers.
