About the Role Owing to continued growth in our energy portfolio, particularly in nuclear decommissioning, we have a unique opportunity for Quantity Surveyors to join our team in Whitehaven and Warrington. You will focus on cost management, NEC contract administration, and commercial leadership to support multi-year, highly regulated decommissioning programmes. This role offers exposure to some of the UK’s most complex energy projects and broad client collaboration. What You'll Do
- Manage and administer NEC4 contracts in accordance with project and governance requirements within nuclear decommissioning programmes
- Control and implement contract variations efficiently, ensuring timely and compliant agreement
- Maintain accurate cost control, monitoring, and forecasting across complex, long-term projects
- Continuously improve the quality and reliability of cost forecasts and budgets
- Work collaboratively with client, contractor, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives, KPIs, and value outcomes
- Support commercial and cost management activities in a highly regulated nuclear environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety requirements What We're Looking For
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- NEC ECC Accreditation and practical experience administering NEC4 ECC contracts
- Hold, or be working towards, membership of an appropriate professional body such as MRICS
- Experience working on technically complex infrastructure projects within highly regulated industries (e.g. nuclear, energy, utilities)
- Understanding or experience of nuclear decommissioning, waste management, or site remediation
