Job Description
- Assist in taking off quantities from drawings and site measurements.
- Track quantities executed on site against budgeted quantities.
- Maintain measurement records and cost backup documentation.
- Assist in reviewing contractor and subcontractor payment claims.
- Verify quantities, rates, and completed works under supervision.
- Support preparation of payment recommendations.
- Maintain records of certified payments and outstanding amounts.
- Assist in recording and tracking variations and change requests.
- Support preparation of variation cost assessments.
- Maintain variation registers and supporting documentation.
- Assist in preparing bills of quantities, schedules, and pricing documents.
- Support procurement by analysing quotations and comparing rates.
- Maintain records of purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
- Attend site meetings and site walks as required.
- Coordinate with site engineers to verify progress and measurements.
- Support resolution of quantity and scope clarifications.
- Maintain organised cost and measurement records.
- Assist in preparing monthly cost reports.
- Ensure all cost documentation is complete and auditable.
- Develop detailed baseline construction programmes for each project.
- Breakdown works into logical activities aligned with the WBS and construction methodology.
- Integrate design, approvals, procurement, and construction activities into the master schedule.
- Establish milestone dates and critical path activities.
- Update project schedules on a regular basis (monthly).
- Track actual progress against planned activities.
- Validate progress updates provided by site teams.
