Job Description

Quality Technician Our Laconia, NH manufacturing client is seeking a Quality Technician for their team. Previous experience is preferred for this full-time, second-shift role.

Responsibilities of the Quality Technician

• Perform visual and dimensional in-process and final inspections on manufactured parts
• Create and maintain documentation
• Calibrate equipment
• Work with Quality Manager on inspection system projects
• Assist in measurement studies and support QA audits as needed
• Foster safe practices on the shop floor and maintain 6S activities in QC lab
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications of the Quality Technician

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of related experience preferred
• Ability to review and interpret customer drawings and use measuring tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Basic understanding of quality management systems in an IATF16949 or AS9100 is desired
• Computer proficiency including MS Office Suite
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
