This position requires full-time onsite work (5 days per week) in Gilbert, AZ and is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Job Summary

Responsible for final manufacturing inspection and verification of finished contact lenses

Responsibilities

Understand and adhere to specified Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), complying with FDA requirements and ISO standards.
Verify lens parameters match associated work order.
Interpret visual quality based on training and experience.
Determine pass/fail characteristics referencing reject code list.
Work closely with fellow Inspectors, Lathe Technicians and Shift manager/Ops. Coordinator to continually improve reject identification.
Maintain constant workflow keeping open communication with fellow Manufacturing Technicians and conducting all job duties in a professional manner.
Perform line clearance and 5’s activities at the beginning and end of the shift.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong attention to detail.
Differentiate between colors not limited to but including green, blue, yellow and red.
Ability to accurately identify lens characteristics looking through a 10x magnification loupe.
Proficiently work on a small delicate scale.
Basic arithmetic operations.

Work Environment:

Job position requires the ability to sit for up to 12hrs continuously.

Experience

One year of experience in quality assurance on pharmaceutical/medical device manufacturing preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is $20.00 per hr and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
