Quality Supervisor II (2nd Shift)

Location: Onsite

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM (Overtime and weekend availability required)

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to lead manufacturing quality operations within a high-volume production environment. This individual will oversee a team of quality auditors, inspectors, and technicians while ensuring compliance with quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting production quality performance.

The ideal candidate brings strong manufacturing quality experience, proven leadership capabilities, and expertise in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality system compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of quality auditors, inspectors, and technicians.

  • Support daily manufacturing quality operations, issue escalation, and containment activities.

  • Manage nonconforming materials, quality investigations, corrective actions, and disposition processes.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, internal procedures, and customer requirements.

  • Drive root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies.

  • Monitor and improve key quality metrics, including First Pass Yield (FPY), defect rates, customer escapes, and cost of poor quality.

  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Customer Quality teams to drive process improvements and resolve quality issues.

  • Support audits, product launches, process changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience.

  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.

  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and inspection processes.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of manufacturing quality experience.

  • Experience in HVAC, automotive, industrial, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.

  • Experience with NCR, MRB, CAPA, and containment processes.

  • Experience using SAP, MES, Power BI, or similar manufacturing systems.

  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification or training.

  • Experience supporting audits, customer quality issues, and new product introductions.

Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $50-$55/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Opportunity for full-time conversion after approximately 90 days, based on performance and business needs.
