Job title: Quality Supervisor
About the Role Based out of Copeland's Natchitoches, LA location, you will provide leadership to the RMA lab and document control areas, manage supplier quality processes and KPIs, and maintain a QMS ISO 9001:2015 to ensure conformance across raw materials, in-process and finished products. You will collaborate across the facility to improve product quality and support assembly/manufacturing processes through audits and documentation.
What You'll Do
- Establish and implement quality procedures, specifications, and testing standards for raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure worldwide conformance with required standards.
- Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments and directly supervise the quality assurance staff.
- Track and report all aspects of the cost of quality; drive improvement programs to reduce scrap, rework and increase shop floor yield.
- Oversee and maintain all requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard; assure QMS compliance by developing and maintaining an internal audit schedule, documenting non-conformances, maintaining corrective and preventive actions (through ETQ), and other necessary actions.
- Facilitate and coordinate all internal and third-party audits (ISO, UL, Customer).
- Monitor assembly quality processes and maintain quality audit records.
- Report on supplier quality, KPI QMS compliance and corrective actions.
- Support assembly manufacturing operation.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical or related engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a production environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Legal work authorization in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
