Section: About the Role Credence Gate Limited is seeking an experienced Quality & Safety Manager to oversee quality assurance, quality control, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance across renewable energy and power construction projects.
Section: Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, including solar modules, inverters, cables, transformers, and structural components.
- Develop and implement Quality Inspection Plans (QIPs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Supervise civil, structural, and electrical quality inspections at project sites.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and applicable standards.
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), audits, corrective actions, quality documentation, and project handover.
- Implement HSE plans, risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and emergency response procedures.
- Lead site safety teams, conduct safety audits, investigate incidents, and enforce PPE compliance.
- Monitor quality and safety performance and coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors.
Section: Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 10–12 years of relevant experience, with substantial exposure to solar, renewable energy, power, or EPC projects.
- Proven experience in QIPs/ITPs, construction inspections, and quality control.
- Strong knowledge of civil and electrical quality control, HSE management, and permit-to-work systems.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent safety certification is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel and spend extended periods at project sites.
