Job title: Quality Inspector
About the Role Quality inspection professional responsible for ensuring parts meet drawings, travelers, and visual specifications, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and operating measuring equipment to prevent equipment damage. This role supports first piece, finished parts, and 1st Article inspections while adhering to ISO/AS9100 standards.
What You'll Do
- Use measuring equipment (height gauges, comparators, micrometers, etc.) and inspection processes to verify parts and finished products meet drawing requirements for dimensions, materials, surface finishes, and other specifications.
- Measure, validate and document findings according to drawings and procedures.
- Maintain working knowledge of ISO/AS9100 quality standards.
- Inspect first piece, finished parts, and 1st Article parts to print specifications using calibrated measuring equipment in a timely and routine manner.
- Perform acceptance testing as required.
- Notify the manager and appropriate personnel of non-conformances and generate NCRs for distribution.
What We're Looking For
- Education: High school graduate or GED (waived with experience).
- Ability to use computer and ERP system.
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience on machines or inspection.
- Ability to use calibrated measuring equipment and inspect to print specifications.
- Working knowledge of ISO/AS9100 quality standards.
Nice to Have
- Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) and NCR processes.
- ERP experience and familiarity with data/documentation requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $30.00 to $34.00 USD hourly, based on a variety of factors.
- 80 hours paid time off per year.
