Move Forward with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring a Quality Engineer in San Diego, CA. As a Quality Engineer, you will: Performing quality reviews and internal audits; evaluating data and writing reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards. Monitoring engineering processes and products for adherence to company and regulatory standards and practices; participating in quality improvement initiatives and projects. Analyzing statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished product. Recommending modifications to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality. Conducting investigations and analyses which contribute to the development and implementation of methods, procedures, and equipment that ensure quality standards for parts and prime products. Participating in and offering technical support to internal and external audits; following up on response of corrective action from audit. This is a full-time long-term, possible temp to hire opportunity. Schedule: Monday – Friday - 8am - 5pm, working onsite in San Diego. May have some flexibility to start earlier. The ideal candidate will have: 3-4 years of related experience with root cause corrective action analysis for product investigations MS Excel / Power BI for charts/trends analysis Good interpersonal and communication skills. Can-do attitude, team building, initiative, proactive Ability to pass
