Job title: Quality Engineer
About the Role As a Quality Engineer at Sonoco's Aprilia plant (Centre of Italy), you will report to the Plant Quality Manager and help ensure that the quality expectations of every customer, internal and external, are met or exceeded. You will support manufacturing of metal closures for tomatoes, pickles, sauce and condiments and help develop and assemble sealing machines and equipment at our Centre of Engineering.
What You'll Do
- Ensure quality expectations of every customer (internal and external) are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with the Plant Quality Manager and cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements in manufacturing processes at the Aprilia plant.
- Support production and engineering activities related to metal closures and sealing machines.
- Contribute to Sonoco's culture of safety, quality, productivity and strong work ethic.

- Experience in quality assurance/quality engineering in manufacturing environments.
- Commitment to safety, quality, productivity and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to operate in an international company with a diverse team and locations (Aprilia, Centre of Italy).
Nice to Have
- Experience with metal closures manufacturing or sealing equipment is a plus.
- Previous experience in a role within an engineering/production center or similar environment.
