Job title: Quality Engineer
About the Role The Quality Engineer will be generally responsible for customer satisfaction, ensuring adherence to procedures, maintenance and improvement of the quality management system, improvement of inspection and testing techniques, and continuous improvement of quality metrics. The role requires applying tools such as MSA, human factors, 8D’s, PFMEA’s, control plans, 6S, Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma to drive quality.
What You'll Do
- Work with engineering and operations to identify root causes for internal and external non-conformances, escapes, or returns.
- Work with engineering to ensure proposed product/process changes are properly communicated to the customer and throughout the organization and properly implemented once approved.
- Utilize problem solving tools to drive and lead improvements such as 8D’s and 4-Blockers.
