About the Role The Quality Engineer at Precision Castparts’ Southwest United Tulsa site supports quality assurance for a 100,000-square-foot metal finishing facility in Tulsa, OK. The site provides single-source finishing services for manufactured parts and for repair/overhaul, including anodizing, non-destructive testing, painting, plating, shot peening, thermal spray, and machining/grinding. As part of the Aerostructures division, this role helps ensure processes meet customer specifications and aerospace-quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Assist with quality inspections and process controls across finishing operations (anodizing, NDT, painting, plating, shot peening, thermal spray, machining/grinding).
- Support non-destructive testing activities and maintain inspection records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with procedures, work instructions, and customer requirements; participate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams at the Tulsa site to drive continuous quality improvement and sustainment of quality systems.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in quality assurance or quality control in a manufacturing environment; familiarity with metal finishing or aerospace-related operations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication and teamwork; able to work onsite in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
