The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Quality Engineer for the “welding portfolio” at 3M Sweden, Gagnef plant, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Driving and participating in improvement activities within production and manufacturing processes
• Participating in meetings and forums for continuous improvement within the departments
• Working to improve yield, increase stability, and enhance process capability
• Performing and facilitating root cause analyses related to quality deviations and process issues
• Ensuring that quality issues are documented, analysed, and closed according to applicable processes
• Contributing to the creation, updating, and compliance of quality documentation
• Providing support to production, engineering, and other functions on quality related matters

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Technical education (e.g. quality, production or mechanical engineering) or experience in quality work within production or manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of root cause investigations and problem-solving methods
• Good knowledge of statistical methods and quality tools
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Analytical and data driven
• Curious about new ways of working and digital solutions
• Detail-oriented and quality conscious

Job specifics:

• Work location: 3M Sweden, Gagnef plant

• On-site role

• Full time job – daytime

• Temporary contract (maternity coverage up to 12 months) ideally from January to December 2027
