Quality Engineer

About the Role LEONI is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead product audits and ensure conformity of samples through PPAP ISIR and related processes. The role includes coordinating corrective actions, validating dimensional and functional readiness of initial samples, and ensuring compliance with quality management systems across projects and customer requirements. What You'll Do

• Perform product audits as planned during samples (A-, B-, C-, D-, and pre-production phases) and verify dimensional and functional conformity.
• Follow up corrective actions of product audits non-conformities within the project through QRQC activities in the plant, led by Industrial Engineering.
• Verify the dimensional and functional conformity of the initial samples; approve PPAP/ISIR (EMPB) for the initial sample; register release on customer portal if applicable.
• Ensure compliance with integrated management systems, legal and regulatory requirements.
• Check that products, processes, equipment, tooling and documentation are updated for each technical change.
• Approve product and production processes according to customer requirements and internal procedures.
• Ensure that all statistical data (SPC, MSA, CPK, CMK, etc.) are available during samples and pre-production phases; maintain quality control according to customer requirements and internal procedures.
• Maintain the technical documents of the customer (e.g., drawing, drawing supplement, technical change).
• Ensure implementation of continuous improvement actions for quality management processes, procedures, policies, activities and reports across the segment or area of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements within the segment or area of responsibility.
• Is authorized to stop production and/or dispatch to mitigate risk of non-conforming processes and products. What We're Looking For
• Education: University Degree in a relevant field.
• Language: English & French.
• Experience: Min 1 year in Quality.
