About the Role US Farathane is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to ensure that plastic injection molded components meet customer, internal, and regulatory requirements. This role supports production, engineering, and suppliers by applying automotive quality tools, driving corrective actions, and maintaining compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements. What You'll Do
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements, and internal quality standards.
- Analyze defects, drive corrective action, and support root-cause investigation.
- Apply automotive quality tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, DOE, GD&T) and coordinate with production, engineering, suppliers, and OEMs.
- Maintain collaboration with OEMs and Tier suppliers to ensure alignment and issue resolution. What We're Looking For
- 2+ years quality engineering in automotive manufacturing.
- Knowledge of injection molding, SPC, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, root-cause analysis, GD&T, DOE, and customer/supplier interface.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
