We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Quality Engineer

Job Locations: Lagos and Ogun

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Quality Inspection:

• Inspect completed work, repairs, products, equipment, or vehicles to ensure compliance with approved quality standards.
• Conduct inspections at different stages of the work process.
• Verify that repairs and maintenance activities have been completed according to specifications.
• Identify defects, faults, errors, or non-conformities and report them promptly.
• Ensure that all completed work meets company and customer requirements.

Monitoring and Compliance:

• Monitor work processes to ensure compliance with established quality control procedures.
• Ensure employees follow approved work instructions, technical specifications, and safety standards.
• Check that the correct tools, materials, spare parts, and equipment are used.
• Ensure compliance with relevant company policies and regulatory requirements.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality control records.
• Document defects, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken.
• Complete quality inspection checklists and reports accurately.
• Report recurring quality issues to management.
• Maintain proper records of inspections and quality-related activities.

Corrective and Preventive Actions:

• Identify the root causes of quality problems where required.
• Recommend corrective actions to address identified defects.
• Follow up to ensure corrective actions have been properly implemented.
• Work with supervisors and technicians to prevent the recurrence of quality issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Workshop/Fleet-Specific Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicles after repairs and maintenance before they are released for operation.
• Verify the quality of mechanical, electrical, bodywork, tyre, and other repairs.
• Conduct final inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
• Ensure all repair jobs comply with approved technical standards and job specifications.
• Report unsatisfactory repairs for correction before vehicle release.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an HND/B.Sc Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in Automotive industrity is required.
